CONAPI is a consortium company whose main purpose is to create a synergy among its member companies, which have a widespread presence throughout the country, offering them the opportunity to acquire the numbers and credentials necessary to face the global market for waste paper.
Each company, while maintaining its individuality and business organization, has the opportunity to be involved in the waste management processes of the holding companies in the country and to participate in large-scale tenders, through the intermediation of the consortium.
CONAPI's core business, however, is the export of waste paper.
The company brings together the excellence of the industry, assuring national and international customers, consistently high quality standards of the material offered.
CONAPI does not trade. It collects, sorts, sells and guarantees its own product.
Separate collection is the first fundamental step that gives impetus to the paper and cardboard recycling chain: in 2022 70,000 tons of waste were handled thanks to our services.

Waste paper has long been considered a valuable resource for Italian industry. The historical presence of CONAPI companies on the national territory and their specialization in the sector have allowed the easy achievement of the recovery targets set by Italian regulations and, later, by the European Union.
